i came across a really rad photography blog called The Plastic Lens this morning and had to share it here...cameron uses old and toy cameras to take photos that are (in my opinion) way cooler than some photos taken by pricier equipment...you can also contact him about purchasing any of the images...

i stumbled upon the letterpress/design studio studio on fire this morning and was really impressed with their work...from invitations to posters to corporate projects, they can do it all...
i posted about the work of seattle local (now in chicago) jesse brown a while ago, and wanted to let everyone know about his solo show opening this saturday at the Wonderful Union Gallery...it sounds like there is going to be some sweet new work (and book!), so if you have time to check it out, do it! the show will be exhibiting until Oct. 3...

i know it's summer and a lot of you are dealing with unbearable heat right now, and just the thought of a scarf around your neck brings on heat stroke...but the evenings here have been so refreshingly cool and almost chilly at times that i could totally snuggle up with one of these beauties...
this store has a GREAT selection of vintage finds...
I'm not even a huge fan of Bingo, but i think this would be so fun to play with lots of friends, beer, and a sweet prize to win...and at the price ($20), you really can't pass it up...
