meet carmel...
(no i did NOT get another dog) so this past saturday the group i volunteer with (EGRR) rescued a pregnant golden retriever...someone had abandoned her and she was taken to a shelter in Port Ludlow...EGRR was contacted and she was transported to the home of one of our volunteers to have her pups...and she had TEN! its really exciting :) Oh how i wish i had room for another pup...
My fiance and I are getting married in Port Gamble. My sister ALWAYS calls it Port Ludlow. Just had to share that.

What a beautiful story, with a happy ending! It's great to hear rescue stories like this and I'm so pleased there are people like you who give up their time to help animals in need :)

Awwwww.... how sweet. Having 10 is a LOT more than having the twins I had! WOW! Way to go mom. Good thing I'm not there, I'd have to take a couple of those pups home.

Wow, how could anyone abandon a purebred golden?! They are the most amazing dogs ever!! I'm glad she was rescued, poor puppy!
