i received an email today from Thea at City Projects about some videos that they've been working on with united states artists, which helps give some very talented artists the support they need...i watched each video and thought they were fantastic...i wanted to showcase one artist in particular, tanya aguiƱiga...not only does she create some really unique furniture and textiles, but she's also commited to ethical design by working with traditional artisans and connecting local crafts to the global economy. it's great to have someone out there working to take local arts international...
